Hi there! I’m Jenessia. I’m just your average everyday girl in search of an exceptional and extraordinary life. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, where although it can be diverse and bustling, it is very easy to get stuck in a routine. I saw myself getting accustomed to an unremarkable lifestyle. I went to work every day at 4 am (entirely too early) until 2 pm, took a nap, watched Netflix, went to sleep again, and started the cycle all over. Needless to say, I was desperate for a change. I decided to do something that I never thought I would do. I saved up some money, bought a passport (top 5 best purchases ever), and bought a plane ticket to Rome. Ever since then, I’ve been obsessed with my next adventure.
I started My Roaming Soul for you. There may be a place you think about going all the time, but you just haven’t booked your ticket. Or maybe you’ve got all the motivation in the world, but you’re just unfamiliar with the place and don’t know where to start. My main goal is to inspire you to get up and go.
